Automotive Detailer

Kawartha Lakes Honda is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Automotive Detailer to join our team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, has a strong eye for detail, and enjoys working with vehicles. Previous automotive detailing experience is preferred but not required.

Position Details

Pay: Starting at $18.00/hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Weekends: Off
Benefits: Standard health and dental benefits available after 6 months

Responsibilities

• Clean and detail new and pre-owned vehicles to Kawartha Lakes Honda dealership standards
• Thoroughly wash and dry vehicle exteriors, including tires, wheels, wheel wells, and other hard-to-reach areas
• Vacuum and clean vehicle interiors, including carpets, mats, seats, dashboards, consoles, door panels, and other interior surfaces
• Shampoo carpets and upholstery as required
• Clean windows, mirrors, door jambs, and other hard-to-reach areas
• Wax and finish vehicles as required
• Move vehicles safely in and out of the shop and around the dealership throughout the day
• Safely handle and use various automotive cleaning chemicals and products
• Follow all dealership procedures, workplace safety requirements, and vehicle-handling policies
• Complete final quality checks to ensure vehicles meet dealership standards

Qualifications

• Valid Ontario G Driver’s Licence
• Clean driver’s abstract and driving record
• Ability to reliably commute to work in Lindsay or willing to relocate
• High attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable
• Previous automotive detailing experience is an asset, but not required
• Comfortable learning and safely using automotive cleaning products, chemicals, and equipment
• Able to work independently while maintaining a high standard of quality
• Must be comfortable standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and working on your feet throughout the day
• Ability to safely move and maneuver vehicles in and around the dealership
